Cooper Coleman Announces Placement of Dion Wade as Chief Financial Officer at Center for Child Protection

CHICAGO, IL – Cooper Coleman LLC is pleased to announce the successful placement of William “Dion” Wade as Chief Financial Officer of the Center for Child Protection (CCP) in Austin, Texas. The national search was led by Johnny Cooper, Founder + CEO of Cooper Coleman.

The Center for Child Protection is a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center and the only nonprofit in Travis County involved in the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children. For more than 30 years, the organization has provided trauma-informed services, including forensic interviews, medical care, therapy, and prevention education, helping children and families move toward healing and stability.

As CFO, Wade will join the Executive Leadership Team and oversee the organization's financial strategy and day-to-day operations. He'll play a key role in long-term planning, financial systems development, forecasting, and reporting as the Center prepares for an upcoming capital campaign and facility expansion.

Wade brings extensive experience in nonprofit finance, with a background that spans budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and organizational operations. Before joining the Center for Child Protection, he held financial leadership roles at BrightSpark Early Learning Services and Seattle University, where he worked to strengthen financial systems, improve organizational visibility, and support long-term sustainability through periods of growth and change.
