Rachel-Ann Levy is a seasoned nonprofit professional with over fifteen years of experience in fundraising, communications, and organizational leadership. She brings a powerful blend of strategic vision, operational discipline, and deep, personal connection to her work. A self-proclaimed “workaholic,” Rachel-Ann takes pride in knowing that her efforts and hours are positively contributing to her community.
Rachel-Ann most recently served as Director of Development at Baby2Baby, a national
non-profit providing over one million children each year with essential items they both need and deserve. In this role, she co-led the development department and oversaw a diverse portfolio spanning individual and foundation giving, development operations, and development communications. She also managed a significant grants portfolio and helped create the infrastructure for the organization’s first-ever capital campaign.
Prior to Baby2Baby, Rachel-Ann held leadership roles across prominent Jewish day schools and organizations across Los Angeles, including the Anti-Defamation League, Sinai Akiba Academy, Valley Beth Shalom Day School, and Sinai Temple, where she oversaw fundraising initiatives, capital and endowment campaigns, communications and marketing strategies, high-impact events such as annual galas, and appeals. In all that she does, Rachel-Ann loves creating impact with words, establishing and developing meaningful connections, and building and implementing effective systems.
Born and raised in West Los Angeles and at Wilshire Boulevard Temple, where she was both bat mitzvahed and confirmed, Rachel-Ann’s identity has been shaped by the values of tzedakah and tikkun olam.She and her family volunteered at the Temple’s food pantry for nearly a decade, making her role at Karsh even more meaningful.
Rachel-Ann received her B.A. in English from UCLA and worked for the school’s Communications Board, igniting her passion for strategic communications and fundraising. This love of writing and communications has been a hallmark of her career, enabling her to build compelling cases for support.
In her "off" time, Rachel-Ann is committed to getting 10K steps a day and lifting heavy things whenever possible. She is a dedicated runner, pilates addict, Peloton super fan, health food enthusiast, and bargain hunter.
Rachel-Ann is thrilled to join the Karsh Center and looks forward to working with fellow, mission-driven teammates to support individuals and families in critical need.
