Katie Hanlon

Katie Hanlon brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit development and finance, with a strong track record of building philanthropic partnerships that advance mission-driven organizations. She is energized by collaborating with boards, staff, and global communities to strengthen fundraising strategy, deepen donor engagement, and support students through the transformative power of education.


Most recently, Katie served as Executive Director of Project C.U.R.E. Chicago, where she led comprehensive development efforts across board engagement, corporate and foundation partnerships, and major and individual giving. Her prior experience includes senior development roles at multiple nonprofit organizations, as well as major gifts work at Rush University Hospital.


Katie was selected as a Fellow in the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Emerging Leaders Program and is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where she earned a B.A. in International Studies and Diplomatic Relations with honors.


Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and enthusiastically supporting them in their many activities.
