Rob is a national expert in gun violence prevention policy who has worked on significant policy initiatives, appeared in multiple media outlets, and testified before Congress. Rob recently completed his service as Special Assistant to President Biden and Deputy Director of the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Rob helped lead the first-ever federal Office, which was tasked with implementing the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, expanding partnerships with state and local officials, identifying new executive actions, and initiating a federal gun violence emergency response system.


Previously, Rob served as the Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs at Everytown for Gun Safety. While at Everytown, Rob advised Senator Chris Murphy as he negotiated the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the most significant gun safety law to pass in nearly 30 years.


His work honors his cousin Laura, who was shot and killed at nineteen, and is inspired by the tireless advocacy efforts of his Aunt Amanda and Uncle Nick.
