Cooper Coleman to Lead Chief Financial Officer Search, Extending Engagement with Austin's Center for Child Protection

CHICAGO, IL – Cooper Coleman LLC has been retained for an additional engagement with the Center for Child Protection (CCP) in Austin, Texas, to lead the search for the organization’s next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This engagement builds on Cooper Coleman’s ongoing partnership with the Center as it continues to strengthen its executive leadership team in support of its mission to protect children and support families across Travis County.

For more than 30 years, the Center for Child Protection has provided a safe, child-friendly place where children impacted by abuse can begin to heal. As the only nonprofit in Travis County involved in the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children, the Center delivers trauma-informed services including forensic interviews, medical care, therapy, and prevention education at no cost to families. Working in close collaboration with law enforcement, medical, and legal partners, CCP plays a critical role in reducing trauma while supporting accountability and justice.

The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. This role will lead all financial strategy and operations for the organization, with a focus on strengthening financial systems, improving forecasting and reporting, and supporting long-term planning across departments. The CFO will also guide financial planning and oversight for an upcoming capital campaign related to the renovation and expansion of the Center’s primary facility.
