Cooper Coleman Retained to Lead Executive Director Search for CAMP Rehoboth Community Center

CHICAGO, IL – Cooper Coleman LLC has been retained to conduct the national search for the next Executive Director of CAMP Rehoboth, a respected LGBTQ+ community center based in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The engagement follows the planned retirement of Dr. Kim Leisey, who has served as Executive Director since July 2023. Cooper Coleman previously partnered with CAMP Rehoboth to place Dr. Leisey and has been re-engaged to support the organization through this next leadership transition.

Founded in 1991, CAMP Rehoboth is dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive community for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Over more than three decades, the organization has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a community-centered nonprofit offering health and wellness services, cultural and arts programming, advocacy, and opportunities for connection for residents, visitors, and allies throughout southern Delaware.

The Executive Director serves as CAMP Rehoboth’s chief executive and public representative, partnering closely with the Board of Directors to advance the organization’s mission, oversee operations, strengthen fundraising and external relationships, and ensure long-term sustainability. The next Executive Director will build on a strong organizational foundation while guiding CAMP Rehoboth through its next chapter of growth, visibility, and community impact.
