KishaLynn Elliott

Executive Director

San Diego Pride

KishaLynn Elliott is Executive Director of San Diego Pride, becoming the first Black lesbian to lead the region’s largest civic institution in its 50-year history. A San Diego-based strategist and restorative leader, she brings more than 20 years of executive experience, combining operational rigor with a deep commitment to community care.


Before joining Pride, KishaLynn served as Chief Operating Officer of the Monarch School Project, where she advanced equity for unhoused youth and helped navigate complex organizational transitions during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a certified Project Management Professional, SHRM Certified Professional, coach, and IIRP-Licensed Restorative Practices Trainer.


Her San Diego roots include co-founding the Black Leadership and Abundance Center, serving with Black Lesbians United, and joining the National Board of Summer Search Foundation. A Spelman College alumna, TEDx speaker, writer, and multidisciplinary artist, she lives in San Diego with her wife and son.
